We believe that small groups help children feel safe and more secure. Small groups allow teachers to interact with children individually, take time needed for routines, observe and respond to each child, and follow the child's lead.
Infant Room 6 weeks - 12 months
Our infant room is designed for the small infant to have many opportunities to explore throughout the day. It is a warm, caring environment. We limit swings and infant seats to encourage mobility. Our staff is certified in ITER-S, and our program is designed all around the guidelines for ITER-S. Every child has their own crib and each day a daily chart is provided to parents. Our small groups give your infant the ability to get the one on one attention they need. Our staff will play with your child, sing, encourage language, read to your child, and tend to their every need.
Waddler Room 12 months - 18 months
Our Waddler room is designed for the mobile infant. The room is set up into different learning areas where the older infant can learn and explore throughout the day. The areas include: Cozy Reading area, Dramatic Play, Water play, Block area, Cars and trucks, Little people and houses, a soft climber to encourage large muscle development, and manipulatives for small motor development. Everyday they have circle time and they do a variety of art projects. Parents are given a daily chart daily, which tracks meals, diapering, and naps.
Toddler Room 18 mos - 2 1/2 years
Our toddler room is a learning environment. It is set up into different learning centers. They include: Dramatic Play, Blocks, Reading, Manipulatives, Art, and Music. Language Development is encouraged with finger-plays, music, and story-time. Everyday the children have circle-time, centers, and do a variety of art projects. They learn social skills like sharing and manners. We potty train in the toddler room and encourage them to become independent. A daily report is provided to parents daily.
Pre-K I & II 3 years - 5 years
Our Pre-K rooms are an environments where your child will excel in learning. Our small groups give your child the ability to have many one on one learning experiences with their teacher. Our curriculum includes: letter and number recognition, pre-reading skills, writing skills, math, learning centers, art, music & movement, and dramatic play. Everyday the children have circle-time, story-time, and make a variety of art and learning projects.
Every group goes outdoors daily (weather permitting). We have a large fenced in playground with Perma- Grass surfacing. The children play outdoor games, to encourage their large muscle development. During the summer months we have water play daily.
