| Delivery of Child & Pick-up Procedures A parent or adult must drop off and pick up the child at the center and must sign in and out at the entrance of the center. On the application form there is a space for persons authorized to pick up your child. Please inform your authorized persons to bring I.D. (driver's license, etc.) into the center which will be checked against the child's application to ensure the proper person is permitted to pick up your child at the center. No child will be released unless we have written permission from the parent for the release. In cases of custody, we must have a legal custody agreement on file to protect everyone involved. No child will be released to any person who appears, in the judgement of the staff, to be physically or emotionally impaired. If a child is not picked up from the center one hour after closing, and all attempts have been made to contact an authorized person to pick up the child, our staff will call the DYFS child abuse hot line to seek assistance in the care of the child. |
